In about three weeks I will packing up and heading from Kentucky and driving up to South Dakota and Wyoming then heading back through Colorado back to Kentucky. Trip will be in the 3000 to 3500 mile range. My 06 xterra is at 77,000 miles and I know the suggested interval for replacing the timing belt is around 80,000 to 90,000. I will break the 80,00 mile barrier by the time I get home. Is this something I should be concerned about or would I be fine till like late winter or spring of next year. I haven't had any mechanical problems and she runs great I would just hate to get way away from home and something happen.
