Are my RPMs running higher than they should be?

Looking to confirm if my engine RPMs are higher than they should be on my 2004 3.3 with 5speed manual.
My RPMs are at 2000 when only going at a speed of 40-45 in 5th gear. Of course they are even higher when on the interstate at 65.
Tires on 16in rims are a little wider but same height as standard. My rear gear is a HG49.
Stay warm on this cold spell that will hit many of us!
Thanks

Oh for sure. Was reading low. Would have to regear to compensate. Never got around to that

Sounds about right. I also have an '04 MTX with the 4.9 gears. IIRC 75mph was about 3400 RPM. I went with 235/85R16 Falken Wildpeak tires This dropped freeway RPMs by about 200ish. Basically are about 1" bigger diameter than OEM. I think they are a 10 or 11 ply truck tire that can handle 80 PSI My only complaint is that they are much heavier than a normal light truck tire. If winter ever decides to ship up in northern Ohio I'll get to see how they handle snow. I bought a cheap GPS speedo and double stick taped it to the dash hump above the center vents. It's not really needed, I just wanted it. after changing tires, 65 indicated was about 70 actual and 70 indicated was about 75ish actual. So I could very easily do that mental math to keep smokey off my tail.

Ditto what everyone else said. Mine was screaming in fifth till I went with a bigger tire but it threw the speedo off by about five miles per hour.
