2000 trailer wiring harness

Hey guys, I am trying to install a curt tow package on my 2000 manual X. Everything I read online says that there should be a pigtail type 4 pin to plug into on the frame rail behind the passenger side tire. I watched the you tube video with an 04 but mine is not the same. Anyone come across issues with this? Thanks!

I'm having the same issue locating the plug on my 2000. Sean, did you ever find it? mine does not have the plug pictured above. my only other option would be to tie into the plug in the back of the rear light assembly

2000 with factory tow package here. There is a grey square plug near the pass frame rail. It's capped with a male plug that pulls out. The oem kit came with a pig tail that plugs into that connection on one end and has a flat 4 on the other end. If you don't have the tow package it may not be there, and you'll have to wire it up somehow.
