Since the problem with the stock center link is the ball joint, I went ahead and converted the ball joint to a tapered fixed bolt by simply removing the boot and the grease and welding it in place. Was very easy to do and is very strong. Solves the center link wallow/pivot issue.

I believe I have this same issue. Noticed transmission fluid around pan, thought it was the pan gasket, but noticed it was coming from above the pan gasket. It appears to be a slow leak at least, but if you figure out a fix, I'm all ears. Perhaps some RTV?

For my build (here) I've decided to keep the stock torsion bars and leaf springs. I have a winch mounted up front so I'm hoping to compensate by running a stiffer shock. I put in my order for the $500 UCA, shackles and idler arm brace package from 4x4parts.com so I'll be running a 3" suspension...
