my lord! thanks for this info, really appreciate it.. I'll try my luck at a junk yard if not, I'll remove it -hopefully it comes off easily since those bolts tend to get rust with time and the heat.

heck I'm thinking of just removing that bracket so I won't hear metal with metal rubbing against each other and the vibration from it, no harm on that I guess right?

it's a 6 cylinder, and I just re-checked mine and I'm missing the rubber piece along with the other part, I am attaching a pic how mine looks now.

@Bklyn.X, not sure what year is that Xterra I found in a public place that day, but mine looks like is missing exactly that part, and mine is a 2003 Xterra - this under the passenger side, towards the end of the tranny

Does anybody know what's the name of the exhaust bracket shown on the pic attached? my Nissan Xterra 2003 exhaust hits the chassis and I can hear it when in idle. This is a pic I captured from an Xterra I saw parked near me once. Any guidance on this will be greatly appreciated!
