I've owned my Nissan for almost 13 years and done several trails with it in stock form. I've decided recently to lift it and add larger tires, along with some armor and rock sliders so I can do some more aggressive trails without worrying as much about damage. I've built other off-road vehicles (older Blazer, 1999 Pathfinder) with things like lifts and lockers so I'm not new to wrenching, getting muddy, or getting un-stuck. I kept my Xterra more as a daily driver but figured it's getting a bit long in the tooth and well-past time to get a bit more adventurous with it.
