Today was WEIRD.
it did it again. i parked and tested it out. in Park, e-brake engaged. car off, ingition in off position, no lights. turned lights on and off, worked fine.
turned car on. worked fine. car in Drive, worked fine. released E-brake, then it stayed on again after turning lights...

So my driver side headlight would sporadically stop working, until it finally shiat the bed. every now and then it comes back. I swapped bulbs, it wasn't the bulbs. In the combination switch fog lights, turn signal and high beams all work properly. My guess is its a loose connection somewhere...
im embarassed but, here goes.
bad spark plug.
but i swapped spark plugs, right? i must have put #4 back into 4 and not into 1. shop made sure, they did not want to call me back with just that. but im just glad its over. I spent too many hours looking at this project.
almost certainly not in the head. was rebuilt by a local shop that does race engines. new seals, machined everything.
plugs new
wires new.
rotor cap and distro were all swapped, no difference. returned the complete assembly. felt like it ran a little better, so im just gonna throw new cap and...
