That's the plan at this point. I hate wiring!

After looking pretty carefully at the existing wiring, I'm sure that the factory wiring is no longer present for the markers. Anyone have a suggestion for an easy fix? I assume that it can be anywhere from as simple as jumping from the front markers to as involved as adding wiring and relay etc.

I'm definitely going to have to do some investigation into what happened to the wires. I'm pretty sure that the front end had a small fender bender and may have caused the wires to no longer be present.

When I got my 04 X it had no side marker lights. I haven't looked really hard but I don't see any connectors for them. Any idea where they come off the harness? A couple years ago I got some touch up paint from Auto Zone. I remember they had a rather large selection in-store. Might be worth checking out

Looks great! Taking care of faded plastic is always a huge improvement.

I had the same experience but with the side to side trimming. Measure twice, cut once... oops!

I certainly prefer the round headlights, despite the fact that they aren't most people's favorite.
