Thanks for the reply but one more question. What exactly is a helper spring and can you use it without an AAL or vice versa? I've heard a lot of ppl referring to installing a Hellwig helper spring but don't really know the exact main purpose for doing that. Is it meant for folks that tow only?
So let's just say if OP decides to tow with the X later on, is it bad to tow with because he went ahead and tossed the overload spring? Or it only matters if he's towing heavy heavy loads?
Planning to install the 3 AAL as well and will be towing here and there once in awhile so was just curious.
Following this thread. I'm thinking of the same type lift as you OP. Been looking at the Rancho quicklifts for quite some time now, just been gathering info here and there. Please take pics or videos of your install when it comes time to tackle it. I would love to see your installation and also...
If you're gonna go.. go all out! My 2014 Pro-4x is the bestest I've ever own. Get one and never look back. Perfect truck for camping or overlanding. Did I mention it's the bestest??
Wow! That looks badass! Looks way better than any other bull bar out there plus it accepts a winch. Great job OP! It doesn't look to be very "approach angle" friendly huh? Nevertheless.. very nice job indeed!
