Just did a test drive and she ain't shifting the way she should so I will have to address that problem here soon... think the tranny is low on fluid. Probably need to look into the electronics as well
Transmission issues resolved? It was just low fluid in the torque converter?
So, exhaust, intake, trans fluid, and then, hopefully, project complete?
Yeah, I meant the diesel swap project. We all know there's never an end to the mods unless you sell or total a rig.

I wanted more low end torque, with better fuel economy. Something like the 4bt or 2.8L CRD are two engines I'd like to experiment with. I wish the TD27T2 was readily available, and had better power numbers. I can deal with the HP, but I'd like to see the torque numbers to be a tad higher.
Nothing a few mods can't fix, most turbo diesels take well to the basics, and some can really handle some boost, the stuff i've seen the aussies do to TD42's is awesome. I spent some time researching TD42's, still would love to do one, its a big heavy mother.

Broke my Crank sensor when I dropped the trans it reads off the starter ring teeth the flywheel. RPM's gauge worked fine. So your RPM sensor is else where. I would suspect it reads off the cam sensor.
