Daystar 2" lift done.
The UCA is leaving a smallish mark off that I'm not happy about.

I will see how everything lines up after getting an alignment tomorrow soonest I could get an appointment.

Been working on the girlfriends expedition more than my own rig for a good while now. Her baby needed the attention first.. After all its a Ford.

Poor girl popped her air bags.

Up on the lift it goes.. On second thought on blocks than the lift, the frame was sitting so low the lift didn't fit under her, no picture of that though.

Air suspension going buy buy

Back down on the ground with 2" above stock ride height. Doesn't look like much on a rig that size just makes the tire look tiny.

Firestone gives the stock sized 265/75/16 a 50,000 warrantee. That's not the case with the 285's I'm hoping to get at least 50k out of them, I have seen reports of people getting 50k out of them on much heavier rigs like F-250's and up to 70k on lighter rigs. I can say after about 600 miles they still look new unlike the BFG rugged fails.

Wow my alignment was really bad after doing the lift. Very glad I kept my driving to a minimum! Camber, Caster and, toe where all well into the red zone.

Very nice rig man, what's the difference in sound with the magnaflow system?

Idle it's quieter than stock, get on it it gets loud fast. A bit of drone around 2500 rpm.

One hint of advice would be have the rubber dampener transferred over otherwise you will get a rattle from the 7th layer of hell.

My installer was an id10t and, forgot to transfer it over as instructed. So now I have a 5lb chunk of steel doing the job.

I like your ride man, I wanna throw a lift like that on my 2012 Pro-4x also but im afraid of voiding my warranty, did you do any research on this before you had yours installed?

I installed it myself in about 3 1/2 hours. As for your warranty concerns.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for companies to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty simply because you used an aftermarket part. The only out Nissan would have is if they can prove the part was incorrectly installed or, defective and, caused damage to covered parts.

Clean looking rig! I had the Firestone AT's on my old Chevy. Great tire! The wore good too and that was with me being lazy and never rotating them, haha.

I LOVE the sound of the magina flow. Now that the system has had a chance to settle in a bit. The rumble I lost at start up is back and, the drone I was getting at first is almost not noticeable. Between being able to hear the air being sucked into the engine through the volant and, the asesume growal coming out of the exhaust. It is an awesume combination.

Three wheeling

Got the X on 3 wheels yesterday... A bit of a pucker moment. According to Deltaphi216 who took the shots rear passenger side was up at least 4'. A kind tree was very close as well.

Love the rig man.
Im really on the fence about a lift being my next investment and can't decide OME full lift kit or just spending small cash on the daystar lift as you did.

Any advice? How is the ride after (not that its important) and have there been any big issue aside from the alignment?

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. A full OME lift will change the stock ride, I can't say how much though. I have seen a few rigs with it and yeah.. It is a sweet option, but the rear leaf Springs have a annoying squeak to them.

The daystar kit is a good starting point, I went this route because at the time my pro 4x suspension was brand new.

If I had to do it over I would have gone big with a nisstech lifts kit and UCA's as I do get a slight coil bucket knock every now and than. The rear leaf spins haven't flattened out yet, but they will quicker with larger shackles.

Got to do some camping over the weekend. Than rush to the dealership to get my state safety, emissions and, a oil change done.

This is the first time since I started modifying the X it has been back to the dealer. Fortunately no issues from the dealer even though they took about twice as long looking everything over. Than came back asked if they could take pictures and where to get the parts to make an X on the lot look like mine.

I did notice the new X's have dual heated seats so two more locations for switch gear in the oem pro 4x panel.
