Okay so I have a decision to make either sell the xterra or sell the Tahoe. So which one should I keep? I love my xterra to death and have enjoyed it to the fullest but the Tahoe is sooo much bigger and has more power and well its loaded to the T and gets better mpgs. Heres my plans and specs for each one and yall let me know what you think.
Tahoe
2004 Z71 4x4
138K
leather, sunroof, rear locker, 3 rows, cheaper parts
I would of course bedline it :p
6" lift and 35s with 4.56 gears

Xterra
2003 XE 4x4
151K
Already bedlined :p
I would be doing 3" SL 2" BL 295s
RLC bumper

That's a tough question. LOL. Your Tahoe seems further along on the Mods list, lower actual mileage and better fuel economy. I could not fault you for selling off the Xterra given the choice between the two. The other option is sell the Tahoe and put all that money into mods for the Xterra, lifts PML and SL, Locking Diffs and maybe a SAS. It depends on how much off roading you actually do - if you drive more ON Road - I would keep the Tahoe.

Thats my two cents :kewl:

I would go with keeping the Tahoe. I've always had a thing for the Z71 Tahoe. Way bigger, Way more power and could get better mpgs if you drive it right.

Yeah keep the Tahoe. I love my first gen but given the choice the Tahoe is just a batter platform. Your concerns or interests seem to be power, space, and MPG of which a Xterra will never deliver the same numbers. Now if you said i need a truck based on pure offroad ability alone Xterra.

If your goal is to get to the trail head, keep the tahoe. If the goal is to keep on going once you get there, keep the X.

For off road concerns I don't do too crazy of stuff. Im not flipping my vehicle every weekend and climbing straight up trees lol I mainly ride backroads and up the mountains to fishing spot or land to camp on or coal roads. Keeping the Tahoe will be different as I cant fit down those little four wheeler trails no more lol

I'm not really a Chevy truck guy per se, but I do really like how those new trucks look. One of our vendors just bought one and I got to check it out. Grats on the purchase

Thanks and yeah me neither but Chevy has that sale going on this month so it was the cheapest truck to buy on the market besides a titan but the titan get 13-15mpg and my chevy is getting 23mpg and still hauling ass lol
