Trying to clarify on T bars

So I have my upper control arms installed and the 3 leaf AAL with adjustable shackles, (revolvers are on order)

Now I'm trying to understand this but in order to achieve full 3 inches of lift in the front do the torsion bars HAVE to be reindexed or can I simply just crank on them to get as close to 3 inches as I can with the upper control arms and low profile bump stops?

Thanks again guys!

The t-bars are ROTATED when you draw the adjuster finger up into the cross member. IF you can get the upper bumpstop gap at your UCA to ~ 1/2 - 3/4", just doing that, you DON'T have to re-index.

If the finger is already up as high as you can get it, and you still have too much upper bump stop gap, THEN you need to re-index.

If you add low profile bumpstops, the above gap advice needs to be INCREASED to compensate for the added gap the low profile stops gave you. (If 1/2 lower, you need ~ 1" of gap instead of 1/2", and so forth...)

The reason is that you want to be able to get a wheel alignment, and, much over 3" of front lift will push you out of alignment range....and, you'll have handling/braking and tire wear issues, etc.
