Sunroof leaking- need help

So I believe my sunroof was done after market as it is just a flip up one. It can be removed by unlocking the flip handle and pulling it out by the two metal tabs that hold it secure near the front closer to the windsheild.

It's been leaking on the passenger side. The drains are clear so no issue there. I've tried looking online for replacement weather stripping/seal rubber but have had no luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions to stoping the leak?

Sekurit Saint - Gobain 43R-00513 DOT 39 AS3 M154 is the only marking located on the glass.

Any help is greatly apperciated! I'd hate for my passenger to have a soggy butt and for my truck to smell due to the seat being wet/dry over and over everytime it rains.

Thanks!

In the short term, silicon sealant? Close the sunroof, turn your HVAC blower on full blast, and wipe the area over the seals with a really soapy solution. where it blows bubbles, there's your leak.
Also, because of the way the the roof slopes up between the front and back seats, the factory sunroof is only a pop-up/take-out, so it could be that yours is indeed factory.

I was thinking silicon too... but i think i found a company that sells replacement rubber stripping. I was also told to try to bed the little metal tabs to see if that can get a tighter fit. If all else fails or if they want too much money for the replacement rubber silicon it will be!

Check the two screws that are under the latch that opens it. One of mine came out a few years ago and it leaked through that hole. The only bad thing is that I had to order a new set through the dealer as that's not something that an auto parts store carries. Not that they are expensive but I had to wait a week to get them.

oh no they're there. this leak is half way in the middle of the passenger side. I can see right where its coming from. its like the sitting water has no where to go so it drips inside.

It seems the most common issue is the screws that attach the handle to the glass coming loose (though wind noise is also a symptom). If I were you, I would just start disassembling it until I found the problem, looking for exactly where the water is coming from. If you can do a heater core, the sunroof would be no problem Doodle.:D

I used sealant around the latch (mount) plate and over the screws to stop the leaks. I used to have my rear cup holders fill with water every time it rained and since I applied the sealant, it hasn't happened again.
