Spare Tire Lock

Just got a new Xterra 2013 Pro-4X. Could not find a Spare Tire Lock listed in the accessories. Web searches come up with one for the Frontier truck, but not for the Xterra. I've heard the spare tires are often a target for theft. Any advice is appreciated.

I just use a short cable with two eyes on the ends and a pad lock, it only takes a couple of bucks and very little time.

Thanks for the advice. Someone else pointed out that the back hatch covers up the winch hole that lowers the spare wheel/tire, so that is some amount of security. I like the idea of a cable and lock.
