Finished plumbing in the snorkel today. To say running the line was a PITA would be an understatement. Anyway can someone tell me what they did with this line? How to seal it off and relocate sensor? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1355459982.249665.jpg

Thats mine there. For now i just put some silicone around the hole and plugged the sensor back in. The resonator that runs to the radiator i cut of there and used a plastic cap off some 2 stroke motor oil. Siliconed it and pushed it in. Fits perfect. The resonator going through the fender i used a spray paint can top. Siliconed it and slid it over the tube. You could also take a 2 inch pvc cap and plug the hole in the air box. Then drill a 3/4 inch hole in it for the sensor which is what i will do enetually. I just didnt want to run to the store when i was working on the truck so i made due with what i had.

That's how Steeze did it in his DIY low-pro snorkel install, and it's what I plan to do with my DIY as well. I don't see why it wouldn't work with a purchased snorkel.

Yeah, thats how I knew it would work. I just didn't have the cap when I was doing everything. I have it now though.

"If Steeze did it, it's gotta work!" Lol. Nah I getcha. I just went shopping and picked up all my DIY snork bits and pieces the other day, but I completely forgot the 2" cap. Funny because while looking at all the pieces, I picked one up and was like "Huh, am I gonna need this? Naaaah".

Yeah I have completed the snorkel now I used the method steeze used to relocate the sensor to the 2" cap. That part took literally about 5 min to finish. Now I'm snorked. lol
