Ok So I am going to get a set of these. I just can’t decide on a color. The outside of the X is white and the in side well....grey

My first thought would be black, but then I thought I might want a different color so it stands out more.

So here are the 3 choices and let me know your opinions.

my plan is to find a set of those that's not in the greatest shape that I can cut the stitching with a razor blade, to make a pattern out of em, I found a place that'll send me any kind of ripstop fabrics that I want, so, I'm gonna have a full set of covers made from the subdued urban digi-camo. With the above choices though, I'd say go black, but make sure they come on and off easily so you can wash them when you get stuff on them.

Black is hot in the summer.. I have the green.. I think the tan would go well in the white xterra

I was thinking the green or tan, but they just told me that the green is on backorder for a while. Im leaning away from black because it blends a little to much.

The dirt issue is not huge for me, but obviously you would want to keep them somewhat clean.

I went with black (Silver X with gray interior) because of the “hides dirt and stainsâ€￾ reason;

They don’t leave much leg room for my back seat passengers when they’re filled with crap, so far they have not proven to be too hot and I like them.

any chance that someone could do a trace and scan into something and save as a PDF to make a pattern out of em? ;)

These things are not made for an Xterra, they are made for a jeep. If you want someone to make these for you it doesn't make sense to use these as templates. Show them the pictures and take measurements from your own seat.

dhyde79 - I've got a spare / torn one that you can have for shipping if you want it for a template. And echo previous post - they're not made for the Xterra, so I would recommend modifying to truly fit the X. Also - if you install these suckers with the mid-back velcro too tight - they will rip over time. Argh.... anyway, I think it would ship in one of the cheaper priority mail boxes if you want it.

If you do, just PM me your info and I'll shoot you the shipping amt.

Cheers!

And back to OP's topic.... (sorry for the threadjack!) - I'd go w/ black or the olive drab. :) The best thing about them is how many Molle bags you get with them!!

I have the black covers and they do not get hot at all. Had them for a year and still haven't filled all the pockets.

Good choice, I love mine to bits.
