New tires soon.... :(

My stock tires are about worn out on the front (excessive cornering), and the rear is about 20% left or just a hair above the tread bump groove. I have about 27k on them so I'm gonna have to replace them sometime within the next two months which sucks.

So here's my scenario:
- I drive roughly about 60-75 miles a day and I average about 300-400 miles a week.
- The Xterra spends about 90% on pavement and 10% off pavement (still want tires with grip for occasional camping remote areas)
- As much as I want to, but not really looking to upgrade to 33's

I've had good experiences with BFG AT/KOs in my past vehicles so I've been considering those but I hear great reviews about Duratracs also too.

I'm open to other ideas.....fire away.

Weight is the number one issue.. I spent a ton of time reading on them.. Either the duratracs or BFGs get my vote.

I was going to go with duratracs but they were on back order so I ended up going with KOs and do not regret it at all. They ride really well and haven't killed my MPGs.. And you do get that aggressive look.

KM2's would wear down quick spending 90% on pavement. Plus I make occasional ski trip to NC so they're not good for snow/ice in the winter time.
And I travel too much to really want a 33's.

I personally haven't tested out the Duratracs on snow and ice really but I've heard they're really good. I'm getting some great wear out of them as well! And on top of that, they're not pricey. Pretty good all around tire.

I'm running duratrac's, they have about 25,000 on them and they are only showing little wear. The edges are still sharp, and they have plenty of life left. I wouldn't be surprised if they lasted 45-50k miles.

DuraTracs FTW. 20k on mine and still look new. Solid on/off road performance. And handle pretty good in the cold stuff too. I did plenty of exploring last winter when we got a good snow. The driving was confidence inspiring.

/minus the intentional locked power slides
