Molle rear window cover install

Hey guys, just got my first set of the new molle Window covers and they are awsome! Thought I would shoot up a quick how to so you guys can get an idea.
Disclaimer...
This mounting option is only one option for mounting. The other option is using self tapping screws to secure bottom molle cover brackets to plastic.

Remove rear plastic recover by prying out plastic clips.

Remove screw

Set molle cover on upper garment hook, install brackets and Mark holes.

Pull back plastic trim and drill holes.

Install lower mounts. With bolts and washers on both sides.

Reinstall cover.

After install of brackets bolt the molle Window cover on.
Note, I would suggest using some good paracord to thread through the garment hook and secure cover to garment hook.

Also note... It is whaaaaaay easier to install molle bags to the cover before you mount it.... Lesson learned!

I have some tweaking to do and I want to get some molle bags with purpose but these are some I had and I really like the options these provide for rear storage!

Not exactly.. It is attached to the roof and then sandwiched by faring. Very solid.

I thought this and got a bit excited . . . dang.

I am about to lose my faring anyways, but still.

Like the look XP, they are on the shopping list at the moment.

I may have to consider that when I install mine. Good way to hide wires.

Do you think they could be attached with the hooks facing in, instead of out? Trying to figure out if I can make them work with the Raingler mini XNET...

Nick, I mounted mine with the hook towards the window.. Before I realized you could swap the hood the other direction.. Lol. You can mount it the way I did but I would secure it on the hook with some Paramore or something just so it doesn't get pushed off the hook. (though it would be pretty hard to do)
