Go Puck urself!!!!

Guess what I got everyone! Finally pulled the trigger on purchasing my body lift Pucks!
I ordered them on Monday and they showed up at my shop this morning. Pretty quick
for shipping seeing how the Midwest is covered in crappy weather to be shipped here.
Let's just hope I don't run into any problems with the install. I cracked loose and re-
tightened all the bolts already so no problem there. Well seeeeee.........

I'm pickn up the new hardware tmrw or Monday depending on my schedule. I actually just picked up
A tbelt kit for my X too today. But the Nissan dealership next door didn't have any tbelt tensioners in
Stock? Go figure but hey. I can wait for a cple days. I'm planning the body lift and tbelt install Monday.
I hope I can get her done. I'm goen all in with this one.

So I got some good news and suck news. Good news is I got my tbelt done.
Sucky news is I went to our local Tacoma Screw and they had all the nuts
And bolts avail for the ones that bolt through and nut on bottom. But they didn't
Have the 4 that bolts to the body. So I ended up ordering them from
Allenfasteners and its gnna have to be done next Monday. Damn!

I started with the p/s bracket. I was gnna take the damn thing out completely but it just
didn't seem to slick to just leave it hanging there, with the fluid sloshing arnd even more
than it already was. So I figured it wldnt hurt to modify it now because the lines had
some slack anyway. I removed the bracket and chopped it 2inchs and welded the sucker
back together.

Then I decided to remove my drive shaft safety loop and space it out 2 inches. I just so happen
to have two stainless steel sleeves from a Subaru timing belt tensioner. Perfectly measured
at 2 inches. Then I was digging through my nut and bolt stash, found some longer bolts
that's fit nicely.

Thanks Ellis, I did disconnect the heater core hoses from the bracket, and also the positive battery terminal bracket.
My question is, what upper hose is everyone using? Some ppl are using different hoses and not everyone has the
same hose. I'm thinking about adding an aluminum pipe insert in btwn the hose, just cutting the hose in
half.

Finally got my lift in progress again, I got my bolts, loctite, and motivation! So I removed my
bumpers and I actually removed the radiator the brackets to let the rad just be loose and
I'll deal with it after. Here is it in the process of lifting. I decided to lift one side at a time instead
of the entire body at once.

Ran out of time to relocate the bumpers. Looks like poop with the gap In there. And the upper radiator hose I found at napa for $20 and found a similar style hose but longer, chopped a couple inches off it and custom jammed it in there. Works
awesome.

So my question is, I kinda see how the front bumper is mounted up higher
with usually 2in square tubing but by the looks of some write ups I've seen,
are the spacers or tubing mounted underneath the 4 14mm bolts that are
up top? Bc I don't see how it can be mounted underneath on the sides where
there are are also 2 bolts mounted on each side? I'm just confusing myself....

Yes...the spacer is mounted between the bumper and the stamped metal bracket. The metal bracket bolts to the frame and goes straight up, and has a 90 degree bend to create a "table top" so to speak. The block goes on top of this "table top" , and the bumper bracket sits on top of the block.

Kinda like the attachment below...Does that make sense? Bumper bolts on top of the red square spacer. Bottom of the metal bracket bolts to the frame.
