Ok so I have a bit of odd gas milage issue. No matter what I do I can only get about 12-13 mpg. That's city highway and towing. I bought a bully dog tuner to see if that would help and nope. Still 12 mpg. I took off my intake spacer nothing. Did the relearn and nothing still the same thing. Changing the oil doesn't even help. Anybody have any ideas? Or am I just stuck at 12 mpgs?

I know when I'm towing I can't get more than about thirteen. But I've been averaging around 18, and I sometimes see as high as 23 or 24 on the highway. You've got a lot of extra weight in armor, and I don't know what kind or aerodynamic drag losses a rig sees with an aftermarket bumper and a lift. Lights up top add a bit of drag as well. Also, if your speedo/odometer have not been corrected for your larger tire size, then you're getting better mileage than what the vehicle is reporting. The only way to be truly accurate would be to mark your mileage with a GPS unit and divide that mileage by your gallons consumed.

Just did a highway road trip and averaged 14mpg. Having said that, i know that my speedometer reads 3mph low vs gps, not sure if that would affect the odometer as well. I have a full set of skid plates, winch, cargo box w tools so my x will not win any awards for being light.
