Looks cool. One major problem I see is the weight rating of the vehicle. 2800lbs or less. I do like the idea of getting rid of the hydraulic system.

Now, if only someone made a version for an old school steering box.

This system is set up for hot rods and such. Modern trucks are beginning to use E-steering so it's just a matter of time and junk yard hunting before I can even do it.

I've been wanting to do something to make low speed turning better and wanted to go the route of putting in a smaller PS pulley which would resolve that. And I'd like to add a rad to cool the fluid. I just don't know where to find a smaller pulley with the right specs to fit the pump and belt

What about just swapping on a larger box, or, say, going to the gym so you're not so weak you can't turn your steering wheel?, etc?

A larger box?

It was more for on the trail. Not necessary, but when at idle, just thought why not make it easier if it's simple?

I ran a while w/o PS this year. When my pump went and toughed it out until I could head back to Niagara to get the one from the Frontier so I could swap mine under warranty. Even then the Frontier pump didn't last too long. Regarless, try driving an X with no PS in a parking lot, that's a whole bunch of fun. Besides, you try telling a woman she needs to hit the gym. Someone will be sleeping on the couch after that...
