After much research I bought a Flex-a-lite 295 fan setup.
This is all a little light on pics due to installing by myself in a snowstorm.
So, when you get this this thing you find out that you have to screw the controller to the shroud then drill holes in it to pass wires through. Here is a pic of the fan wires prepped for connection to the controller.

After I connected the controller I used marine grade heat shrink on the connections.
I had already removed the factory fan and shroud when I was replacing my blown harmonic balancer. The factory fan was cracking all around its mounting points to the clutch.
When I test fit the fan it was a really nice match to the core. The only big issue was the lower radiator hose. This may be due to my body lift. The left fan blades just touched the hose. No good. So I noticed the gap between the front radiator support and the radiator. I "adjusted" the brackets with my Thor hammer, and drilled new mounting holes. Here they are installed.

That did not quite fix the issue. So, I was not so happy and did not take pics of the next set of adjustments. I took off the hard pipe connecting the lower hose to the thermostat hose, and "adjusted" its bracket too. This tilted the pipe toward the power steering pump and up. Had plenty of hose due to the body lift.
Then I moved inside and installed the optional override switch. Bad pic.

and better pic of installed switch.

Finally, after lots of electrical in the snow, I was ready to mount the fan to the truck. It is heavy and says not to mount it to the core. I clamped one side to the core anyway and the other to the front of the truck. It is just clamped it place. Its not going anywhere. I will make better mounts when I take the bumper off to install a winch. Here is a pic of it all done.

Feel free to ask questions.
The fan works great! I drove it all day today the temp gauge never moved from just under the center. Highway, in town, idling in the driveway for a long time. Time will tell but all is good now.
