Dome light/ Power lock problem

So today I bought some led dome lights. Went to install them, they wouldn't light up. I checked them with a chunk of wire across the battery, they work great. I replaced the. 7.5amp room light fuse, but that didn't help. I can't get any power to the dome or map lights. And yes they worked before I tried LEDs. Now my power locks won't work unless the key is in the on position, still no power to lights. I'm lost. I'm not worried about power to lights, I can hotwire and switch them but I need the locks to work. Any ideas???

led's only work with forward based polarity. They're not two way like incandescent. Did you try reversing them?

As for locks, not sure on that one. Sorry. Sounds like separate issue though.

Fuse 28 in the box under the dash. Lower right corner. It's a 7.5a and I think the cover reads electrical 2 or something like that. I bet that's what's up w/ your locks and dome lights. Also, as F2X said, check the direction of the bulbs.

Thanks Prime, I now have power to my locks and domes. I swear I checked all the fuses but must have missed that one. On a side note, the LEDs worked with both polarity
