So today's WTF moment came when I started the truck and checked all the electronics. ARB compressor, fine, locker.....wait....why is the compressor still running?

Go to the rear axle and find this.

Damn dog got bored and decided to chew my air line in half. So. How do I fix this other than running a new one all the way to the compressor?

You should be able to cut out the damaged part and repair it with a brass compression coupling. They should be available at about any auto parts store. If you don't know what size the line is just take the piece you cut out with you.

Yeah. The damn dog looked like he started on the ABS wiring as well. Stupid. He once chewed a hole in my full size garage compressor line with me standing right there.

That's what I get for leaving my truck in the back yard for a few weeks.

The fitting from ARB is nothing but a thing of glory, it is a push fitting like on the compressors. Or like a shark bite fitting for plumbing. Sure they are a little $$$ but they are so worth it. I even keep on in the tool box for field repairs.

I've got two. A black lab and a beagle lab mutt. Not sure which one did the chewing, could have been either one. But I'll put my money on the Lab. He loves to chew random stuff.
