I'm going to pick up some deflators pre-MOAB. Anybody have ones they like? Don't like? Recommendations! Please discuss...

Go Staun or go home. :)

Honestly, I love my Staun's, but they are a rather expensive solution to a very simple problem. Where they do come in more handy than say a normal set of cheap deflators (http://www.teraflex.biz/air-deflators.html) is when the weather is bad. The Staun's made winter wheeling that much more enjoyable. Nothing like freezing your ass off while trying to air down.

I've got one of these and love it

You actually remove the valve stem so the tire pressure drops rapidly

Agreed on the stauns.
Walk around and install all of them and a couple minutes later walk around and remove them and good to go.

I typically drop to 20 psi. Ride is so much better on the 8 plys, but still driveable even back on pavement for a short trip.

I do love my Stauns, set them to 15psi but you can set them to whatever you want. I think that they were set at 17 when I got them. I also have a currie one that is the same as the ARB one. While it is nice it takes me longer than it does with the stauns and I dont have to crouch down by each tire while airing down.

I've got the Currie unit myself, but I prefer to set my tires manually. Depending on conditions, trail traction, type of wheeling, length of trip, etc., one pressure setting doesn't do.

So those that run the "set it and forget it" Stauns, that's cool. I just prefer to be a bit more pro-active with my traction.

They have stauns for me by tomorrow. Done and done.
I like the combination of reasonable precision and convenience

I also use Stuan, great trail tool, I use the spare to check the accuracy now and then, there just a little bit off sometimes!
