Custom Camo - Headliner Paint Job

Well...I re-did my sagging headliner with camo burlap, which looked awesome until two days later it was sagging and falling down again.

I decided to re-do the re-do, and forego the fabric. I used rustoleum bedliner for the base coat. I then took 3 different types of tree branches from my back yard to use as a stencil. I used some pale yellow spray paint and sprayed a few patterns around. Then I took some olive green spray paint and did a few other patterns. Lastly, I re-did a little more yellow to create a layered camo look.

Looks great, I think! What say you?!

I like it, when mine started to fail, I just used the extra flat tan, just to keep it simple. They should have come from the factory like that. So much easier to deal with dust and mud than with the old mouse hair.

That looks awesome!

Mine started sagging after I did mine, and I had used the Loc-Tite brand 200 strength adhesive. I redid most of it with the 300 strength, which is heat proof and water proof. It's held up like a charm.

If it does start to sag in the future, I'm definitely going to paint it. You're right - less hassle :)

All I did was bedline it. Paint is definitely the way to go. I don't know how I feel about the camo, but then again it isn't my truck. (MOst people don't like the stickerbomb.. but whatever.)

Props for adding your own style and flair.

I originally used 3m 75 spray adhesive...but I have since learned you are supposed to use 3m 90.

I am not the stereotypical camo lover...but Wal Mart was the only place nearby with fabric....but they didn't have fabric on a roll. The only pre-cut fabric they had that was 48" wide (width of headliner) was a camo burlap. I thought about trying to go somewhere else and find another pattern, but I was like...ehhh let's do it.

I thought it looked pretty good, but didn't want to bother with re-spraying with glue. I originally was going to just bedline the headliner...but had some extra colors in my garage and figured I'd give it a try...no regrets on my end...turned out better than I thought
