Cost: $19
Mount Location: Rear hatch, passenger side.
Pros: Good reception.
Cons: Not protected well from brush, tree limbs. Will probably have to move it at some point before the screws on the mount pull out.

Nice I am thinking the same setup but more rearward facing. I thought about going with the 4' firestik firefly since it's more flexible

I have a firefly mounted in the factory antenna location with no spring.....boy howdy that thing bends on the interstate

I highly recommend the heavy duty spring with whatever antenna you get if you are planning on mounting it like Kevin did above. I had the medium duty one and there is way too much give and it slaps the back hatch off road.

I have decided after NXM that I will stick my cheapo mag. I never heard any of the truckers just the folks in our line. I cant get out very far but far enough for my needs.
