Hey guys. My radiator busted today, anybody know where I can get one for less than the 417 bones courtesy parts charges?

Back when mine was leaking racerxxl told me I could get a supercharged one (evidently they are thicker material) for a little over $100. Not sure if it was the whole radiator or not but 417 seems like ALOT!

I paid 60 or 70 for mine on eBay.. The SC will work in it.. but make sure what people call a SC is 1 1/4" at least

I should have specified I have a V6 3.3L non supercharged. That rockauto site might save me. Just have to be sure to order the right one.

Get the sc radiator. You will not regret it. Non sc radiator is shiate. My 2000 is WAY happier now that it has a real radiator in it. It drops right in.

http://Radiatorbarn.com order for your year and for the SC instead of NA. They no longer offer the 1 5/16" core width, what I have, other than in the all metal radiator for $281. They do offer the 1 1/4" core with the plastic tanks for $98 shipped.

Out of curiosity where did the radiator fail? Cracked end tank? Cracked at a fitting?

It cracked where the return hose clamps on. The plastic piece.

So the supercharged radiator is what I should go with? It'll drop right in and has the trans cooler lines?

Drops straight in ....has the fittings but you will have to transfer over the lines from the old radiator but they may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

I just want to be sure about it......if someone who knows for sure could check this link out and tell me if this is what I need that would be great.

Link.

I can't tell, because the schematic doesn't show how deep the radiator is, but it looks skinny, and therefore may not be the one you want. You want the one which is 1.25" deep, minimum, as opposed to one less than an inch thick (which is what came stock on the 00 and 01). i tried to find the right one on the rock auto site, but couldn't get any pages to load

Thanks man! I'll order it as soon as I get home. I'm going to put a longer return hose on too. It seemed like it was putting some pressure on the fitting after the BL.
