Well this weekend I did the great task of doing my breaks and replacing my rotors. You got to understand working on cars is my new thing so experience is something Im lacking and it actually wasn't too hard. I was freaked out with taking off the hub assembly and all the inners but I had a lot of help from a youtube video to double check myself. Although It didn't say you needed a 22mm socket for the caliper so AutoZone trip lol

Awesome! Feels good doing something you've never done before.

Have to ask, where did you need the 22? Largest I remember using was a 14 for the bracket.

If I remember correctly, the 14mm is the caliper bolts, the 22mm is the caliper bracket to knuckle bolts.

Yes that's correct and in order to actually remove and replace the rotor you need to remove that bracket that is attached with the 22mm bolts. If you're just swapping pads out you just need to remove the 14mm ones holding the caliper itself.

Congrats! I recently learned how to do those myself, too! I felt so accomplished since mechanical stuff is not my forte (yet). Gotta love rubber mallets in getting those damn rotors off (mine were on there good!).
