It's FS designated 4x4 trail. Starts off as a dirt road to Bellota Ranch HQ, turns off, you hit the rock garden/outcropping, then the trail drops down into a canyon and follows it down climbing out a few times. A few cattle gates here and there, a well and trough at a spring for cattle and you can fill up your bottles with fresh ice cold ground water. Overall a cool little high desert trail only an hour out of town for me!
