Amber's Borrego Trips :)

So since on the other forums I blow them up every weekend during desert season with my trips to Borrego, I'm going to stick to one thread here and update it each time I go!!!!

So... This weekend I went to Coyote Canyon which I visited last weekend as well... It was a beautiful day and rain was all around all day!!! After Coyote we headed over to the Slot which was the first time I have ever made the steep decent and it was nice to have a challenge, then we headed over to Goat Trail to close up the day and headed home at around 3 when the rain finally caught us!!

Of course I hit the trails again in Borrego but I really had fun discovering animals... We went up Hawks and Camped in sheep canyon ... then wandered all over Saturday

Some how were lucky enough to get the best camp spot on a holiday weekend call it luck! Only one like this:
Started up a fire when we got up there:

Then the unexpected ....

Then he ran off...... but then returned again and again wandering in circles around our camp....

He is not a Bob Cat because his tail is so long but we can't figure out what he was.... he was super curious about everything in our camp and stuck around till we went to bed many hours later... but he would come and go:

Then he decided to lay on my roof rack multiple times but by the time I would get over there he would jump down to my hood:

So anyone have a clue what type of Cat this is????

Morning at camp:

We then headed off and did all the trails up top by sheep canyon hit up Rock House, Butler, and the off road park to see what toys were out.

In the back of Sheep Canyon found this little creek :

Then to close out the evening we drove to 17 palms:

And then on the way out this guy went running by... Just to make my day end perfect

Also, some guy was looking at some dirt mounds with what looked like a whale bones hanging out so next time I wanna check it out, was very cool
