6 lug....?

I believe that they will fit. Most of your 6 lug GMs and Toyotas are 6 on 5.5, and thats what the first gen X is. The only issue that you may find is that the rims are narrow if they are actually trailer rims, which means you won't be able to mount a wide tire on them. I would email the seller and try to get a width on them before you commit to purchasing them.

Most tires will not fit on a narrow rim like that.. unless you get trailer tires.. granted you can look at the ratings for tire width and determine that on your own.

but they would be a steal.

15x8's would be better IMHO.. In the sense that you could air down, and not lose your bead. I also don't know if trailer wheels can be used for automotive purposes.. I don't know so someone else would have to chime in, but I don't believe that they can be used..

it says right in the title that they are 6.5" wide. that's REALLY skinny for truck rims. I know because I looked all over for a set of white steelies for the short bus before i found my titan rims. Even if you decide to run skinny tires, you will DEFINITELY need to check the center bore.

Just let them pass, there is a reason that they are so cheap. And no matter how cheap, since they are too skinny it would still be a waste of money.

Chiming in late, but fwiw, trailer tire options are SUPER limited, and often with lower speed ratings than what you'd want to drive a regular vehicle on the highway with.

The old school 4wd and military trucks run pretty narrow rims, but at least some of the tire options for them are pretty tall, so I'm not sure they'd fit the X. And the speed ratings might still be low - not sure about that bit.

Military tires are speed rated quite a bit lower than regular tires, which isn't a problem for most military vehicles because they max out before they hit the speed limit of the tires lol. I also think that you would be hard pressed to find a military tire that will still fit on a stock X. I agree with granitex. Just pass on them.

I guessed that might be the case... tx for clarifying!

I forget if you're 4x4 or 2x4, but make sure the center hole is large enough to fit over your hubs if you're 4x4. I had to turn down a killer deal, similar to this, because the center bore was much too small.

I agree though, those would look great black!

Sent to you from my very own piece of East Coast paradise...

The 4x4 or 4x2 part does not matter, the wheel is still hubcentric on the back end regardless. and the rear drums are the same if you are 4 or 2 wd.

U.S. Wheel 704 Series

USW-704-5012.jpg

4.75" backspacing, right? I saw a guy on CX who had 4.75" on an 02 like mine and said he had to grind his calipers down when he installed his US Wheels....Nuke I think..

Summit has them for $62 each, which REALLY isn't that bad, especially for them!

Either way, matte finish and wagon wheel is the way I'm going.
