I am on my way back from a WA to CO road trip. Unfortunately I realized about 3500 miles in that my stainless steel brake line has veen rubbing the inside of the tire the whole time.
The brake line started fraying and then the sharp fray dug into the tire. Rubber flakes were EVERYWHERE and glued via leftover grease to the suspension and wheel. Brake line is not leaking but def needs replacement. But how about the tire? Apologize for pics, this is all i could get. Inner white core is exposed.
Should I replace tire, keep as spare only, or is it OK to run?
