so i found out today from the boss that he had to fire one of the drivers that parks in the other yard over the state line cuz he got a OWI (DUI). hence why that truck is now parked next to mine making backing into my spot a little annoying.

How bad was it to do? I know I will have to order a splitter at some point and I don't mind retuning my antenna and radio so that's not a problem.

Well, I don't love the look (too far off the roof of the car) and the mounting brackets kind of suck (semi-universal brackets) but the size is perfect and the usefulnessof it will be huge.

It was too bad. Be prepared to drill the hole out and make a bracket yourself. I have a splitter but when i used it it would make when I talked in the CB feed straight into the speakers but i have a feeling that was because i had my nut wrong. Right now the factory antenna is just laying under the plastic strip below the wipers and is connected to the radio with good enough reception. I may try putting the splitter back on now that everything is fixed once its not raining and not to hot.

The splitters don't work that well. I just removed my radio antenna. Terrestrial radio is garbage.

Don't work well in what way? Is hard to get everything tuned back up or introduces lots of noise?
