it does have a lot of actual fire fighting. but the actual fire fighting is bogus. some done correctly some done so wrong you'd die or be lucky not to die real fast. chicago pd isn't a bad show either if you haven't checked it out. it works with chicago fire..

I figured there would have to be some "liberties" taken because of it being a tv show. I figure the natural progression will be to watch Chicago PD too. I'm going to probably catch up on the CF episodes in a week or two and if all of the CPD episodes are available I'll start on them. Thanks for the advice!
My grandpa was a fireman his whole life so it has always interested me, not to actually do it, but the art of doing it.
