Use this thread to discuss all things xb1. What do you think of the new system compared to the 360? What ways are you using the xb1 outside of gaming?

Been watching lots of Netflix and playing lots of Forza and still trying to learn all the voice controls and get it all set the way I want it.

Played dead rising 3, ryse, madden, zoo tycoon and killer instinct. It's even better than I thought. The graphics are amazing and the kinect is crazy powerful. It picks up my voice easily. My favorite part may be the picking up the controller and it signing me straight into my profile.

Question about the TV function of it. I do not have a HD cable box, does it stream over the internet or from a cable box?

Anyone notice the much needed small updates from the other day?

Now you can actually see how much the controller battery has and used harddrive space.....Why was this not part of the original software?

Yea it was talked about for a while. I think they waited to put it out so they can see how the system is running and fix the little bugs they found out about while giving us something that we can actually see happen

Well they should have had them to begin with......those are 2 of the most basic/needed features....So far I have not been impressed with the system. Voice controls is the only new cool thing about it

I love the system. I feel like it functions smoothly. Yea I agree they should have been on it at launch but I got the charging station for Christmas so I don't ever worry about dead controllers and I know there's no way I filled the memory up already so it wasn't really a big deal to me.plus the games look so pretty

Definitely an awesome game. I think the way everything flows is great, moves more fluidly than a traditional fps. Can't wait to get my hands on the full game.

Better hurry, the beta is only up for another day or two, then you have to wait 3 weeks for the real thing : D

Anyone playing Destiny? Been looking for a fireteam for some co-op/pvp but all the folks I usually play with are still on 360 instead of Xbone.

Yup. They're pretty fun, but difficult. There are a bunch of side challenges that require you do all of one or all of the heists with the same crew.

The only problems I have seen are player related. To do any setup or finale, you have to have the required amount of people, usually 4. If someone quits, you have to completely restart. If someone dies (on Hard Difficulty), you restart. If someone can't read or understand their objective, they quit... and you have to restart. It gets frustrating if you do it with a bunch of rando-s with no communication. There are two heists in particular (1 and 3) that I spent nearly 2-3 hours each trying to complete JUST THE FINALE with the same hosts. Each time, someone would quit or and then we'd have to restart the "waiting on 4th person to join" process over again.

I'll gladly help out if/when you do them. They're fun as heck since the mechanics and flow of the heists are a little different from missions. Suppressors actually mean something in some of them and having the right weapons make the job a lot easier.
