Great info on here. It looks like BFG A/T will be my best all around tire. My local tire dealer said I can swap tires with him on my future purchase of a '14 PRO-X4 if go strait from dealer to his place. I have a question. What is the tallest tire I can run on a stock height Xterra?

Little late....but....

I run: 33x12.50R18 Toyo Open Country M/T

Yes I love this tire in every single condition you could throw at it. Grips on everything. Longlife and great wear. Only downside is price but with 18" wheels every tire is expensive.

I have ran KOs on a few rigs.. Best over all AT out there. We have them in the wife's 2009 right now. Never had any issue with them

OK,nobody laugh.......

Thunderer Trac Grip M/T's 285/75 16's
Cheap (I paid $650 mounted and balanced) Taiwanese tires.
They're a little loud on road but I'm fine with that. Great in the rain for an M/T. (snow I have no idea)
Off road they perform much better than expected, lot of grip, great in the mud, clean with just a little throttle. Minor chunking but I've been pretty hard on them.
I have about 7000mi on them.

Would I buy them again? Surprisingly I would if I was trying to save some green.

I bought my Xterra a couple of weeks ago. I drove it straight to the tire store and traded the Rugged Trails for KOs of the same size. The KO is one of my favorite all around tires.

Other than the duratrac, or maybe the revo2....
Never been impressed with how the big blocky tires like the AT/KO handled...

I ran duratracs on the Xterra and they were fine. I did cut 2 sidewalls with them though..

The pattern looks like the old BFG MT a little bit

P265/75R/16 BF GOODRICH RUGGED TRAIL. Stock on the pro 4x. 17K + miles so far.

Buy again? I really cant fault these tires so far. I travel about 50 miles round trip daily. In the snow/ice they have not let me down yet. Overall i have no issues with them. When it comes tire time, if i got a good deal on them, i would probably go with them again.

I have kept them rotated and always checked the pressure. Last inspection they are all wearing evenly.
