Will 33 X 12.50 Ride "quiet And Comfortable" If I Choose A Mild A/t Tread?

My truck has a 2 inch body lift and 3" UCAs and lift shackles in the rear. I have plenty of clearance to to fit 33s. I already have a fully reinforced steering system.

I am currently running 33 x 10.50 BFG KM2s on stock 15 x 7 rims. They are worn a bit, slip and slide in the rain, and are loud. The noise is my main complaint. I can't comfortably field a phone call in my truck without putting it on speaker and holding the speaker up to my ear.

I offroad a few times per year (3-5), and mainly on rock and dirt trails. I don't do big mud. I do a lot of beach driving. I am not the type that hobbies revolve around the trails...but I don't want to fully sacrifice my capability.

I am looking into new tires...and I am wondering if a 33 x 12.50 would run comfortably / quietly on the road if I got a tame AT pattern like the Cooper Discoverfer AT3 XLT...or should I do the more "reasonable" thing and also downsize to 32 x 11.50, possibly lower the lift a little so they don't look so tiny?

For reference, I am not looking for a totally silent ride, just quiet relative to worn MTs. Just quiet enough to comfortably field phone calls and talk with my wife as we drive. As the KM2s have worn in, the thought of driving 3+ hours to trails isn't a fun one, and my wife hates riding along in it now.
