So I got bored while working and found this pretty cool site called Crawlpedia.com and they have this guide to wheels. I was looking around because I personally want to drop to 15" wheels and maybe I can find some in a junk yard. Well I wanted to know what other car brand wheels will fit our Xterras. I only looked up the first gen (00-04) which has a lug pattern of 6 x 5.5 or the equivalent of 6 x 139.7. The lugs we have are M12 x 1.25 (not too relevant apparently) and a center bore of 100mm. What I looked for is the 6 x 5.5 pattern and a center bore of at least 100mm. Here are the sizes, according to Crawlpedia.com, that will fit a first gen X:

This is just a start, it is not the bible on what fits and doesn't fit. I figure my boredom results in information being passed on to the X Community. If there are others that you know of let me know and Ill add it to the list. Also maybe we can get this to be a sticky so people can find it easy.

I think some Toyota 4runner & Tacoma wheels fit. I was looking at grabbing some '93 4runner wheels . Pretty sure they have range of 4.5-4.75" backspacing and a larger centre bore than Nissan. Anyone using stock Toyota wheels?

The Chebby wheels will technically fit the lugs, but they are a hub centric design that uses a flat flange on the lug nuts instead of a taper. So they may or may not hold correctly on the truck.

/food for thought
