I was always the 'angry young man' with 'teenage angst' and found music that expressed what I had felt inside but couldn't express it like these bands (or more like the single bandmember who was the nucleus of that band) No particular order: The Who (Pete Townshend), Nirvana (Kurt C.), Black Flag (Henry Rollins), The Stooges (Iggy), The Doors (JM), The Ramones, Violent Femmes (Gordon G), Rancid, NWA, Cypress Hill, The Pixies (Black Francis), The Jam (PW), DK, TSOL, Social D, The Smiths, etc.

Now this isnt all the music that I used to listen to, its the music that was most inspirational to me, that I related to the most, and that motivated me the most to become an active member of society.

So yeah - punk rock changed my life. I listen to all kinds of different stuff now that I'm older, but punk made music important to me.

Lately I have really gotten into john mayer, michael bublè, coldplay, and such but now that I purchased subs today I'm sure the beats will be back.
