So I was reading this:

Which lead to this:

Mostly because i skipped lunch and Im craving pizza. Which got me curious. When I have frozen pizza, I buy several types, typically Red Barons or Tombstones, but I always keep stuff around to "Church" them up a bit (except pinyaps). If you have a staple frozen pizza, which is it and why?

DiGiorno Stuffed crust. 3-Meat. Add more pepperoni and sausage, a bit more cheese.

Recently tried The Dish frozen Deep Dish. I love a good deep dish pizza. and this one is pretty respectable for frozen.

That first article is ridiculous. Tombstone and Red Baron as 1 and 2? That lady has no tastebuds.

Never frozen pizza

We keep naan in the house at all times. Makes really good pizza dough. Sauce, cheese, toppings. 10 minutes. Done. A million times better

Only frozen pizza I eat are pizza rolls.

But the best pizzas are the ones we make at home when we are feeling ambitious. I’ve taught my daughter to cook up all kinds of neat stuff to eat. She knows just how to make it up right.

Totally get this, however the wife gets stressed about ‘complicated dinners’ even though I’m the one who cooks. Most often (when I get to make pizza) we get a pre-made dough from Trader Joe’s then I make my sauce and throw whatever on it. It’s ok, but doesn’t compare to when I get to make the dough.

I. Don't. Have. Time. For. That.

You’re preaching to the choir. I rarely have time to make dinners from scratch. But when I do, I get my kids involved and teach them how to do it right. Maybe they will have jobs that don’t work them 12-14 hours every day.

I never did understand stressing about making homemade meals. Then again, I grew up watching and helping my mother make dinner throughout my childhood. So it’s normal to me. So also is having a well stocked food storage room and pantry. But people think it’s weird that I make cheesecake from scratch instead of buying it. And maybe it is. But homemade always tastes better… well unless you can’t cook.

My Mom didn't like to cook. I had to teach myself to cook and while my wife was a pretty good cook when we met, we learned a lot by trial and error.

We cook a good bit, but some evenings when the wife is working and I have projects I need to get done, we need something that's heat and eat.
