what is different about 2004 upstream oxygen sensors?

Does anyone know what is so special about the 2004 o2 sensors? Looks like these o2 sensors were only used on 2004 Xterra and Frontier. One of my O2 plugs broke and I will be replacing my O2 sensors. I cannot find new pigtail harnesses anywhere. I am tempted to buy the pigtail harness for the '00-'03 and install those sensors in my '04. The earlier sensors are less than half the cost of the '04 sensors. Also it looks like there is something different about the sensor besides just the plug:

Well after doing some digging it appears the plug is the only difference. Wires according the the FSM are even the same colors between the '04 and previous years. I have bought 2 new pigtails and O2 sensors for the earlier first gens and will see how it goes.

If anyone has a picture of their '00-'03 O2 plugs showing what wire color goes to what plugs that would be greatly appreciated. If the FSM has this info, I have not been able to find it yet.

Well I forgot to take pictures and I all I have for illustration is the picture above.

anyway with the clip down and the back of the connector oriented toward the front of the truck (as it would be installed in the X) the wiring is as follows:

For Bank 1 (passenger side) and from left to right on the back of the connector:
Orange / Black Stripe | Black | Brown / Yellow Stripe (Orange / Bk Stripe is toward the passenger side of the car)

For Bank 2 (passenger side) and from left to right on the back of the connector:
Orange / Black Stripe | Green | Brown? (this was supposed to be brown but on my '04 this wire was orange)


For clarity the wire colors from the harness connecting to the pins on the O2 connector from left to right:

For Bank 1 (passenger side) and from left to right on the back of the connector:

Thought I would post this for anyone who needs new O2 sensors and has an '04 looking for a cheaper fix. Even buying the wire harnesses I saved over $75 from buying the '04 sensors with the different plug.
