Rotated Winter AIR, And Installed Spring AIR into all 4 Tires. Except Spare..
Plus little boost to Firestone Air Bags ( 30 PSI). Should last two months before next top off.

Spring air contains. 77% Nitrogen. If I recall My dive glass. :). Cool kids add Nitrogen to tires and pay for it. Mine is free!.

Did not check my Blinker fluid. Amazon Prime takes too long for Two Quarts.

BEER time.

I originally ground the coil buckets for SPC UCAs. Then ground them more for the Ironman UCAs knowing I shouldn’t and being stubborn. Ended up doing more than I was comfortable with, and “notched” it a little, which I was worried about as a weak spot, especially since I’ve seen posts here showing cracks in that exact same spot. Now that I have ADO UCAs with plenty of room, I sanded down to bare metal, took a 1/4” steel rod and cut/bent it to match the lip, then welded it in place. Looks terrible, but it’s solid.

I’m very new to welding and this was the first time welding directly on the truck. A little nerve-wracking, but glad it’s done on the one side at least. Will do the other tomorrow or maybe later this week. And once the paint is cured I’ll probably use JB Weld or something to smooth out the messy welds and hide them. I couldn’t get the angle grinder in at the right angle.

Made a custom wind fairing to match the customized height/length of the new rack. Used 1/4” ABS but then didn’t like how glossy it was. Decided to wrap it with marine grade matte vinyl, and did a stealth topo pattern of a local trail underneath. Works great to stop the wind noise and also nicely cuts off light glare from the windshield.

What is a Good Lube for the Window trim Tracks? windows seem to be slowing up..

Thinking of using Dry Silicone spray?. that does not leave a Film. Plus protect the window trim. Bearing/Axle Grease, not a option ;-)

Has anybody installed different seats? My full sized a$$ is not a fan of the stock driver’s seat.

@bigskypylot swapped in Titan seats, but I believe there was some fabrication or modification involved.

After a K&N (which was garbage) and then a Z1 (which I really wanted to like though it never quite fit right) I spent today putting the stock air intake assembly back in its rightful place, never to be swapped out again.

Apologies if this is not the right thread, but what size are the bolts that mount the air intake tube assembly to the mounting bracket on the intake manifold? 8x30mm? They are the ones under the intake manifold cover in the pic. Also, what size is the bolt that mounts the air filter box to the bracket near the fender? TIA!!!

I'm running a N&N on my Frontier and I have had no issues (about ~4,000 miles so far). What did you not like about it, if you don't mind me asking.

Made a DIY alignment tool and checked my front end.

Camber is a little high at +1.0°
Caster is at the top of spec for the DS and out of spec for PS. Gotta decide if I'm going to kock out the last notch in my cam bolt lockout plates in the rear or dial back the upper ball joints.

Leaf packs suck alone. Which OME set did you go with?
Medium duty leaf packs, u-bolts, and the bushings. I had RC shackles left over from a 2.5in lift kit I installed on my Frontier, so no new shackles.
Removed the rear sway bar in the process, to have more flex in the back.
And yeah, no lift, one jack, and no buddies....sucks big time

I had them on my Cherokee. They made a huge difference both on road and off.

My 2003 Xterra got a new starter. I washed her today and put Meguiar’s Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer on all the trim. Her paint isn’t pretty, and she has war wounds for 20 years old. I put 2300 into her since March in repairs and 2700 miles. Later this week, I need to shine the trim on my 2013.

Got the gears (4.10's) to finally build the M205 3 rib in my garage. Seals and CV's incoming. Leaving it open, because I've done all the nasty shiat I'll ever really do with an open R180. Time will tell if that's the right choice.

Thanks for the input. She went over 295,000 today.

Charges the battery and drove down to the self wash to dust off the cobwebs. Fitment of the early style grille to the Nismo bumper started bothering me more, so started getting the bucktooth I got off fb marketplace ready.

IMG_4581.jpeg

Kinda half assed the prep, but it still is gonna look better than the quarter ass job the PO did on the old grille.

I don't have the factory radio anymore so I replaced the aux port w/ another 12v outlet.

I’m glad you’ve had a good experience with K&N. For me, the check engine light was almost always lit with the K&N. It has never come on since putting the stock intake back on. The oil element on the K&N seemed to dirty up the mass air sensor throttle body faster. Worse, the element would loosen getting knocked around on a rough trail. The stock intake is just a more secure unit all around. If I had to run aftermarket I’d consider Nismo but that’s probably not going to happen.

Sprayed Lubed the Window Tracks with Silicone lube.. They seem to work way better now, not Hand or Head chopping speed yet!. They were starting to be sluggish. Real test will be Winter Rains, if it swells the tracks? or stay's slick.
Me happy.. Did not drink a beer while spraying. Fear of Over spray landing inside my Beer!. ;-)

Fresh ball joints. Steering drilled for flipped chevy tie rod ends. Hope to have it under the xterra Wednesday night. And just went and aired up the tires. Checked the battery and it said 12.67v. So might even start when I reconnect the battery. Aiming to have it out Saturday for a trip.

Put in a new thermostat and SC radiator after overheating the second time since ECXC last year. Also the fan shroud was loose and got some new bolts. I have a bad track record with sealing things on the engine so hopefully nothing leaks lmao
