Decided I wanted to use the rivnut tool I bought in case I needed it for the roof, then missed the return window on. I took out the flimsy plastic d-ring and put a rivnut in its place so I can bolt on a proper d-ring.

Also sprayed some spray paint in a plastic bag and used a brush to dab some on the molle panel where I’d chipped it off, as well as on the bolts and exposed parts of the bracket to make them blend in a little better. Turned out nice.

New front rotors today.

New rears are in the shop with some Raybestos EHT pads to go with them. Might try and put that all on tomorrow.

I've put about 65k miles on these rotors but they had warped in the last 5k. Dunno if they are original, kinda doubt it being a female owned vehicle from Richmond.

Finally crawled under today and put new clamps on the exhaust to replace the three that had rusted through and broke. Hopefully now no more heat shield rattle at low RPM.
Also got the Shrock radiator skid on. What a gigantic pain in the butt.

I've thought about swapping to that one from the one that came with my Shrock bumper. I don't know if it would actually fit though.

I like that it protects the edges of the radiator a little better.

Organization! I previously had the two action packers and another big trunk organizer just as big as those two combined. Everything now condensed down to this. The black backpack is for hiking and holds a towel and rain jacket. Orange bag is now all my cargo net, bungee cords, ratchet straps, cam straps, etc.

Still might get a mat for back there because even strapped down left to right those action packers are probably still gonna shift front to back.

Installed 2.5 degree shim's [ should've been 4 or 5 degree one's] drilled out 1/2" hole's in axle top plate to accommodate new 9/16" U-bolt's and finally put those black plastic sleeve's inside the little leaf spring stabilizer thingy . I didn't hear any binding type of noise on the way home so it's already a win-win type of day ! ;)20210414_130809.jpg20210414_162223.jpg Well................. with the exception of the dog having the $hit's :(

Lots of work done today. Swapped out lights and lenses so I have white flood on the back and yellow combo in ditch brackets (previously yellow flood rear; white combo front). Got the engine, trans, and transfer case skids installed, and installed Timbren bump stops.

Those U-Blot end's don't come in contact with the Timbren's ??
I hope not. I centered them, so unless they squish out wide hopefully they’ll clear. The picture above is with the rear lifted by the pumpkin to get it as close as possible.

Here’s a top-down view:

I need to get one for our cars. Julie drives interstate and 81 is full of crazies. She might be one too, but nice to have footage if she gets hit or something.

Unit working so Far. Need to figure out setting to shut dam screen off, while driving. Night time will be a bitch! if it stays on.
Last one, I stuck a American Flag on the screen to high the Glare & Electrical tape on the Little LED light, that was annoying while night driving.
No Rear Camera with this unit.. That is History behind me!! I seek the Future in the path I drive. ;-)

Update:
Unit installed last night with Parking sensor set to medium It was turning on as I was Playing with it, during the install. Normal.
Drove this morning.. It recorded my drive In 5 minute segments. Video quality It's not a News Media quality. But good enough to see what is going on Or what Dang bird hit me! etc.

First Problem: NO audio During Drive, in the Video. Hmmm Odd.
when installing it.. Sure Recorded my Audio/video, As I did speak a Fluent Greek word. Caught that audio and Radio audio.

its either a setting screwed up?? OR device system design.. Dunno!.

Did send the company support Note asking For info regarding.. Canned Response: Out of Office from April 22nd- April 27Th.
ugh...
Guess will be the Chimp, and starting Pushing Buttons.

I tried to put the fuel skid on today but learned that the White Knuckle slider mounts were in the way, so all I accomplished was scuffing stuff up then marking it with a sharpie where I’ll be attacking it tomorrow.

True story. I just mounted it and took an angle grinder to the interface and made it go away.

Gave the chop to my fuel skid. Took off a little more than necessary, but I think it’s fine. After the fitting I filed/sanded and got some primer on it. Hopefully will have it installed by the weekend.

Edit: not sure why pics are upside down.
