Over the weekend I changed the oil, replaced all of the serpentine belts, rebuilt my distributer and replaced the rotor. I had 155K on the original distributor, the bearing was dry and had a VERY minute amount of lateral play but nothing you could tell without taking the bearing out.

Just replaced the front diff fluid, rear diff fluid, t-case fluid and engine oil with Mobil 1. I fixed the rubbing issues with my 33's by cutting off some plastic and adjusting my steering stops. Only a minor adjustment was needed and my turn radius was not noticibly hampered.

Noticed a rear main seal leak... again :grey:

Took off the hatch panel, removed third break light, and placed an XN overlay on the lamp lens. :D

I readjusted my lights to give me the edge on those suicidal deer when traveling this week. I slightly angled them to get more of the ditch when driving on those empty country highways where my brights don't get to.

Forgot to take pics during install, but got pics of it after engine cover put back on....now it's just a thin blue line on the manifold. :p

Well, soon I will be replacing the transmission. haha. No joke. Just started yesterday and is getting worse... I was driving on the interstate, nice smooth.. Then I felt as if I was driving on a gravel road at 70mph. Pulled ove thinking something was leaking, maybe transmission fluid, nope. Drove home, everything fine. Today, about 15 mins ago, took off at a stop light... Went fine then the car had no pull. Was pushing the gas, RPM's near 4,000 still nothing. Took my foot off the gas, hit it again, Xterra jumped forward and drove like it was brand new.. What a great time! lol. I have considered sale but I think I will just keep it. I love it too much.

Gave him one last bath yesterday before it gets really cold. Hopefully sometime this week I can get the torsion bars re adjusted and no longer feel like I'm riding a horse. Get my ultra low profile bumpstops installed. Literally if I go over a speed bump at 3 mph you can hear and feel it slam the bumpstops.
Also when I cold start my X in the morning when its covered in ice my steering makes a buzzing noise but goes away after about a minute of driving, hoping that will change it.

yeah, i use fram tough guard.. about $8 for the filter, y? because this is what I have been raised to use I guess.. the only filter my family will buy. The oil is kind of pricey... I go to walmart and purchase the 5-quart jug for about $18

Next time you remove your Fram filter, see if you can cut it open...you'll never use it again. I used to SWEAR by the ToughGuards in my Hardbody until I was broke and had to buy Wix...I even got better fuel mileage out of the Wix using the same oil I've always used (Pennzoil 5w-30).
