Back to warm white (left). Much more natural inside now, and much less harsh on the eyes.
I have RED on the Left side. and White on the right. Really handy at night with maps..
Red in the center as well, Back cargo White.

Did thought about using Green LED's. But at that time frame eh 5-6 years ago.. were not easy to find Or cheap.
I should explore that option again.. But then again.. No longer have need for 3 Am.. Call out missions. But cool factor still applies. ;-)

Added an awning room to my setup! Really looking forward to testing it out.

My 2003 just got back from the shop. Injectors were cleaned, new gaskets on the injectors, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, power steering hose, oil pressure sensor, new power steering fluid, Manifold cleaned, and new gasket, valve cover gaskets with replaced O rings, and bypass hose was replaced too. In a few more months timing belt and water pump will get done. The car is happier and ready to be a work car since I bought a 2013 Xterra in Dec. My 2003 is sitting at 292,000 miles.

Welp, waiting on this install because even the dealer had to order the screws for the switch carrier.

I Smile when Gasoline Can Freeze
Had some motivation finally over the last couple nights. Cleaned up the shop some and drug the new dana44 housing out from under the junk pile and got it up on stands. Found the truss templates I made over a year ago. Tonight will work on setting up the amazon plasma cutter. I need to run some more air lines and set up the water separator. And hopefully next week i will have the truss pieces cut out and welded on.

Changed the parking brake pads and adjusted the tension. For the first time since I owned the car, the brake will keep it from rolling down the driveway.
I want this. Even though all my shiat is new as of two years ago, parking brake is worthless.

My 2003 is back in the shop. It's been in there for a week. I kind of miss it. Hopefully, I'll get it back this coming week. After major work, the idle was a bit wonky. It might need a re-learn process.

Adjusted my shackles to the highest setting today. Gamora now at least sits level.

The first side took us about an hour and a half, as we tried to figure out the best technique.

Step one: floor jack under the frame in front of the tire. Take some load off the spring.

Step two: bottle jack under the spring perch to lift the wheel off the ground. Remove tire.

Place a jack stand under the axle tube just in case.

Third: jack under the tow hitch. Use this to raise the back end. Add a board (I used a 2x6) on top of the leaf spring and use a bottle jack to push the eye and bushing down. Remove the bolt front the bushing. Continue pushing down on the leaf spring with the bottle jack, until it's in the correct position. Replace bolt and tighten.

Passenger side took about 20-30 minutes.

I'm still gonna need to order add-a-leafs, but this is better than it was.

Changed out the "finisher" or whatever it's called to accommodate 5 switches. Oh and I upgraded my CB antenna... even though everyone is going GMRS. 20230324_111532.jpg
