Pulled the X out of the garage so I could put the car there for an oil change. Then pulled the X back in the garage. Haven’t had to drive it for months.

That’s ok, I have enough ufcks as it is. Been thinking on selling some off for sh!t ton more than their worth. Like the used auto market. Still.... love the choice of color.

AFE Cold Air Intake installed in 52 minutes on my lunch break. Would’ve been quicker if my engine bay wasn’t so damn dirty. I was waiting for this install to do the idle air relearn (had been idling low since the cat back install), but the install itself fixed the idle and it’s now back to normal. Looking forward to seeing what happens with mileage.

Posted a while back about buying timbrens, and then when they arrived one of them wouldn’t assemble correctly. Timbren ended up sending me a ‘half kit’, and I finally got them on today.

I need the lower one just don't want to pay that for a piece of plastic that goes there. Maybe I'll check the yards.

Edit: found one at parts geek for $85

What do those do?

when you increase the distance betelween frame and axle there’s more room for the whole thing to bounce, plus if you changed shocks to match the lift they will most likely have a ‘bottom out’ point somewhere before the increased travel amount. These are taller to accommodate the lift, but also rather than being a hard piece of rubber they are designed to compress and act as part of the suspension to smooth out the ride rather than stop it joltingly. Others who have had them a while may be able to explain even better the benefits.

Not sure on ditch lights. Do you like them? Also I have considered installing an antenna in the area they usually get mounted. I think I’d go for something in the fog light location first.

- Checked torque on the u-bolts and only 1/8 needed tightening.
- Did some plastic welding today. Plugged up the four holes in the fuse box cover from where the air compressor was sitting, and the smaller box lid had a hole melted in it from the compressor.
Better the lid than the wiring, fuses or Any hoses. Good catch before Flag Pole Run in 3 weeks.
