Oh it's on jack stands, just can't really see them in the pic. I stopped working on anything supported by only a jack years ago once I realized I wasn't invincible haha.

I'm just complaining that the bottle jack I use to lift it onto the stands is about 4" too short to get the tire off the ground so I have to carry around wood blocks to fill the gap.
Also why a floor jack.

Set up pop up canopy.. Using the Lag bolts to secure to the Ground. Sucks in a Quarry lag bolts will not go deep.. Was able to go about 4 inches.. Worked to hold canopy from moving.

Front Tow hook of the Xterra works great for added anchor point. Wish hook was on both sides..

Dunno if you're on the BookFace but I saw a tow hook for sale on the xterra yard sale page this morning. Could add a second one.

I have a decent 2 Ton Craftsman (it is OLD) it works great and as an added benefit, I pulle dout the plastic jack housing and the floor jack fits (kinda) in that now exposed well (jack upside down)

I did a test drive without I after I installed my AALs, was too roll-y for me. Will try again if I ever get new heavier duty springs.

I've been without sway bars for about a year now. But I have 650lb/in coils in the front and +500lb Alcans in the back. It's pretty darn stable. I still wouldn't try any auto cross with it, but it does my DD and interstate tripping really well.

I haven't had a reason to drop all that garbage so it's still there. When I put the 205 in I imagine it'll come out. Or I'll just take the angle grinder and just cut the ends off.

My guess is it’ll take 5 times longer to cut through that hardened steel than it would to drop the skid and loosen 4 bolts.

Hell we dropped Patrick’s during lunch on Metal Masher.
Just do it.

It's probably the valve. Ebay. Get one for like 50 bucks with 20k on it. Be good for another 144.

Just pull the canister, blow it out with an air hose, do the same with the solenoid, douche the solenoid with WD40, and reassemble..... if you haven’t done it yet, run a piece of 1/2 inch hose and a push in filter behind the DS tail light, and call it a couple years before you have to do it again.

I hate that code, but it’s not hard to fix......

If your gas tank is hard to fill, you’re about to get that code..... kind of a pre warning.

Last time the solenoid had spider webs inside it.. for reasons it did not open or close.. dam bugs.

Will get spray some Insect spray in that Channel, that was to be the FSU fix for the issue.. ugh.. hmmm gas tanking fill burp.. Since Oregon has Chimp that fills tanks WHile I stay cozy in my seat.. going to listen for the Nozzle burp & Take note.

That solenoid fills with dust, and that causes it to stick. When you fill up, the canister can't vent, and that causes the gas pump to shut of prematurely. When you start the rig, that solenoid is charged and closes, and the system checks for pressure. That's why ya gotta run the the vent hose up behind the tail light, and put a filter on it.

It's a simple fix, unfortunately Nissan never did figure that one out.

Yes I know it could probably be patched and they still have some life in them BUT hers is the xterra we drive most often with our 1YO baby so new tires is well worth the piece of mind with winter coming up.
