Since I'm in secret X'er this year, here's a few things I'm interested in!

* working on the X, learning/working about/on cars, fabrication, electicity... etc. I really enjoy learning, tinkering, designing, and fabricating. Working on the X kind of sparked that in me about a year ago, and it's really changed me. I love it
* hiking/adventuring - I enjoy hiking the NM trails and adventuring. My girlfriend and I will hopefully start planning trips into CO, AZ, and UT soon. We think the best places to adventure are in the SW.
* lifting
* paddle-boarding/kayaking - have paddle-boarded the rio grande and some lakes in NM.
* Compiling tools - been compiling tools so I can stop losing my dad's sockets lol

Man, reading through here I'm just about the definition of the average guy. In keeping with this being the secret Santa hint dropping place, I also like learning about new stuff and being surprised. So, if you end up stuck with me, no worries. I pretty much like all the same activities you all do too.

You need to specify if that includes Jim or not.

I like bushwacking coastal steelhead streams.

Take a 50 years old or older logging road that is completely grown in with alders, young fir, pine and Devil's Club and then crawl and weave for a kilometer.

Soak your shirt with perspiration. Fill your finger tips full of Devil's Club spines that require a knife and nail clippers to dig them out later.

And then catch nothing.

Oh well, at least I got one steelhead to hand by the still active road used by BC Hydro....

I've been a sailboat nut most of my life. Raced dinghys and a few big boats in college, Windsurfing in the 80's and 90's, owned a couple of fast catamarans, and recently got this Windrider trimaran, which is the easiest and most laid-back sailboat I've sailed.

Love the Ruger pistols. I have a stainless pistol like yours except 6-3/4" tapered barrel, which is one of my most accurate and fun pistols to shoot.

That AK looks like fun. Did you have to get a tax stamp for that short barrel?

It's an AK pistol with folding arm brace, it's not a stock, although it does look like one. I purchased the pistol and brace separately. It works like the SBA arm braces with a velcro strap that you can strap around your arm. They are awkward to shoot like that. I really had to work up the gumption that day to drill a hole in the back of my M92 to install it LOL.

My other AK is an underfolder. I love that freaking thing. My Ruger MKIII is dead nuts accurate too. At my local outdoor range, I love doing plate rack drills with mine.

i've got a Sig 5.56 AR pistol with an arm brace, I think Sig invented the "arm" brace.

Been looking at a shorty shotgun by Black Aces, their Mini
https://www.gunsamerica.com/Listings/ItemDescriptionPage.aspx?ListingID=941188401

Already have a shotgun so don't really need it, just looks cool. Having fired pistol-grip shotguns, I'd bet that Mini leaves a bruise.
Cool.

I kind of want a Mossberg Shockwave. I already have a Mossy 500 that is my home defense rig, and I really didn't care for the Shockwave, until a friend bought one and asked me to do a leather wrap on the handle. Once I had finished it, I was kind of enamored with the thing.
